QR code reader compatibility?
Question by ♫B.Linné♫: QR code reader compatibility?
I have a Lg900g, which is not listed anywhere as being compatible for any QR code reader, but it does have Java, a camera, internet access, app capable etc, so I tried it anyway.
I downloaded 2 successfully, 1 (Scanlife) downloaded properly, but when I went to use it, it said some other app was using my camera (which I don’t think was happening)
I then tried the Snapmaze Reader, which also downloaded with no problem, but when I started the app, it seemed to get stuck and would not start.
Are there other requirements for mobile devices that I am missing that make it possible for QR code readers to work? (and if you know any reader that may work, that would be nice too!)
Thanks
Ps. readers that do not work for my phone: I-nigma, BeeTagg, Lynkee, QuickMark, UpCode
Also, the Zxing basic and regular JavaME versions download perfectly, start up, and then gets stuck on the opening page that shows the coded zebra and says zxing barcode reader. Which is the same as the Snapmaze reader.
